Cisco’s 2,000-agent reference design supports 1,200 configured Cisco Unified Intelligence Center reporting users. It permits 100 reporting users per CUIC node; across the two CUIC nodes, this provides capacity for 200 active users.

Cisco Unified Border Element (CUBE) is Cisco’s enterprise-focused SBC. It provides voice and video connectivity between an enterprise IP network and service-provider SIP trunks, including SBC functions such as session control, security, interworking, and demarcation.

Cisco Finesse and Cisco Unified Intelligence Center (CUIC) are VOS-based contact-center products. Cisco documentation identifies CUIC and Finesse as products based on the Voice Operating System and states that Finesse runs on the Unified Communications Operating System.

Cisco Unified Contact Center Enterprise Peripheral Gateways use the Device Management Protocol (DMP) to communicate with the Central Controller.

The System Inventory is available at Unified CCE Administration > Infrastructure > Inventory. It is updated by system scans and identifies virtual machines that do not conform to Packaged CCE requirements, so it is the appropriate location to verify deployment readiness.
