Study faster: AstroTutor, Notes, profile privacy, and a cleaner exam flow
A few updates just landed that should make your study sessions smoother, especially when you're deep in a cert grind.
What changed
-
AstroTutor is easier to use while you study
On exam pages, you’ll now see a right sidebar with AstroTutor and Notes. That means less jumping around when you want to ask a follow-up question, save a thought, or work through why an answer is correct. -
AstroTutor follow-ups are more reliable
We fixed a few issues behind the scenes so follow-up replies recover better from temporary failures and don’t add confusing interruption messages after a complete answer. In practice: fewer weird stops, cleaner explanations. -
AstroTutor memory + tools are now in the mix
Your study conversations should feel more coherent, especially when you’re digging into a topic across multiple questions. We also improved tool behavior so supporting features work more consistently. -
PDF guide added
If you like studying with a reference open beside your practice questions, this should help. -
Guest preview now makes the next step clearer
If you’re browsing without an account, the end-of-preview login wall is now much more obvious. All questions on ExamCademy are free, and creating a free account unlocks full access to the question bank. This change is just there to make that less easy to miss. -
Login/signup flow is more stable
We fixed an auth issue that could trigger login errors for some users. If sign-in was acting strange before, it should be more reliable now. -
Profiles now have read-only viewing + privacy controls
You can view profiles in a cleaner read-only mode, and there are now privacy toggles so you have more control over what others can see. -
Draft discard + tooltip layer improvements
Small changes, but useful ones: it’s easier to throw away drafts you don’t want, and tooltips should behave more cleanly across the app. -
Ad/runtime cleanup
We also fixed a runtime issue that could break part of the page experience. Not glamorous, but it matters.
Why this matters
The goal here is simple: less friction, better explanations, and faster studying. If you’re using ExamCademy to prep for AWS, Azure, CompTIA, Cisco, Kubernetes, or anything else, the platform should get out of your way and help you focus on weak spots.
ExamCademy is free and community-driven. Every question is community-created, moderator-reviewed, and open to discussion and reporting so the bank keeps improving.
