For a Layer 3 aggregate interface, ip mtu 9198 must be configured on the LAG interface. When that IP MTU is 9198, every physical interface that belongs to the LAG must also use mtu 9198. A standard LAG with an IP address is routed unless Layer 2 mode is explicitly configured with no routing.
