You should see a smoother path from free study to Supporter now — with fewer weird checkout edge cases, better accessibility, and cleaner UI polish across the site.

Here’s what changed recently:

• Supporter checkout now opens more cleanly. We tightened up when the checkout flow actually starts, so it lines up with what you clicked instead of triggering too early in the background.
• Fewer accidental checkout states. Subscription setup now waits until you actually submit, which should reduce failed or confusing starts if you open checkout but don’t finish.
• Better checkout tracking. We fixed how checkout and upgrade interactions are measured so the data reflects real user actions, not panels loading behind the scenes. That matters because it helps us improve the upgrade flow based on what’s actually happening.
• Improved accessibility in modals. Inactive panels are now properly inert, which makes the experience better for keyboard and assistive-tech users.
• Stripe styling fixes. Checkout embeds should look more consistent, including transparent background handling and theme token cleanup.
• Small UI fixes. We shipped a randomizer fix and cleaned up the recent banner styling.
• Scraper improvements. We’ve also made some behind-the-scenes improvements to our ingestion tooling.
