A Service Territory Member connects a Service Resource to a Service Territory. Field Service uses that membership, including its active dates and territory type, when sharing scheduled Service Appointments with the resource’s relevant service territory. User Territory records are used to give dispatchers or call-center representatives access through territory public groups, rather than to define Service Resource membership.
