How many custom fields may be created on an object in Unlimited Edition?
Under the legacy Salesforce edition allocation reflected by the choices, Unlimited Edition permitted up to 500 custom fields on a single object. Current Salesforce documentation has since raised this allocation to 800, so the item should be updated for current use.
