PMI’s DASSM certification is for practitioners with at least 2 years of agile experience and a basic understanding of the Disciplined Agile toolkit. The exam focuses on leading agile teams through enterprise activities such as planning, coordinating, reporting, removing impediments, and improving value delivery by tailoring the team’s way of working to the situation. PMI’s 2024 PMI-ACP update FAQ says the current DASSM certification was available for 12 months after the new PMI-ACP exam launched on 8 November 2024, with renewals only afterward.
