ACE status is determined from prescreening Required and Asset criteria and the ACE alert threshold. Raising or otherwise refining that threshold and weighting the most important assets makes the top-candidate classification more selective. Adding competencies to the prescreening form adds structured evaluation criteria; the requisition must be unposted to make that change. Oracle documents that ACE evaluation uses competencies and prescreening questions, and that the threshold and asset weights can be adjusted to obtain a viable pool of top candidates.
