In OSPF, how does a router make sure that LSAs advertised to a neighboring router are received?
OSPF makes LSA flooding reliable by having the receiving neighbor acknowledge flooded LSAs with Link State Acknowledgment packets. The sender can retransmit an LSA if the required acknowledgment is not received.
