How does a traditional solution ensure security on the PV DC side?
Traditional PV DC-side safety is provided through fuses for string overcurrent protection, DC combiner boxes that consolidate strings and incorporate DC-side protection, and manual DC disconnect switches for isolation. An AC switch applies to the inverter/grid AC side, not the PV DC side.
