Are all ODN parts in POL passive optical components?
In a passive optical LAN (POL), the optical distribution network (ODN) is made up of unpowered optical infrastructure, including fiber, connectors, and passive splitters. Active equipment is located at endpoints such as the OLT and ONTs rather than within the ODN.
