QuestionQ11

IP Network Fundamentals

A WLAN is a wireless local-area network built with wireless technologies such as Wi-Fi, infrared, Bluetooth, ZigBee, and so on.

Explanation

Wireless LAN communication is defined by the IEEE 802.11 family, which underlies Wi-Fi. Bluetooth and ZigBee are wireless personal-area-network technologies associated with IEEE 802.15, so they are not WLAN technologies.
