Identify the reason a virtual server is not working as expected

Some users connecting to a busy Virtual Server have their connections reset by the BIG-IP system. Pool member resources are NOT a factor in this behavior.

What could cause this behavior?

Explanation

When a virtual server's maximum concurrent Connection Limit is reached, BIG-IP sends TCP reset packets for subsequent connection attempts. Therefore, a Connection Limit configured too low can cause resets during heavy use. F5: Identify and Resolve Application Issues
