SQLMap uses -u (or --url) to specify a single target URL. When the URL includes a query parameter such as id=1, SQLMap can test that parameter for SQL injection. The project’s Usage documentation identifies -u URL, --url=URL as the target-URL option and gives a URL containing id=1 as its example.
