The iDRAC network must be configured so the nodes are reachable for out-of-band management, and the private management/discovery VLAN must be validated so VxRail node discovery and management networking can function. Dell’s VxRail planning guidance requires configuring the discovery (internal management) VLAN on the switch before deployment and completing the applicable predeployment checklist.
