QuestionQ39

Citrix Gateway Policies and Profiles

Scenario: A Citrix Administrator manages a Citrix Virtual Apps and Desktops Site with many Windows users who use various locally attached client printers. No network printers are in use. The administrator enabled the HDX printer mapping policy Auto-create all client printers, causing many drivers to load on the Virtual Delivery Agent (VDA) machines. New standards require the administrator to limit these Windows drivers on the VDA machines. Which printing feature can the administrator enable to satisfy the new standards?

Explanation

Citrix Universal Printing uses generic universal printer drivers instead of standard model-specific Windows drivers. Configuring universal printing for the auto-created local client printers reduces the need to load and manage numerous native printer drivers on VDA machines.
