Refer to the exhibit. One of the vPC VTEPs cannot route VXLAN traffic to vPC-connected hosts. During diagnosis, packets expected to be forwarded to the MAC address on SWITCH-VTEP-1 were found to be forwarded instead to the MAC address on SWITCH-VTEP-2, where they are dropped. Which action resolves the issue?

Explanation

In a VXLAN vPC deployment, peer-gateway must be enabled on both vPC peers to program the NVE router/virtual MAC addresses correctly. It allows either peer to perform Layer 3 forwarding for traffic addressed to its peer’s gateway MAC address, preventing the packet drop. The shared secondary loopback address is already the required anycast VTEP address. Cisco Nexus 9000 Series NX-OS VXLAN Configuration Guide, Release 10.6(x)
