What must be configured to restore the OSPF neighbor adjacency?
OSPF includes the interface MTU in Database Description packets. A mismatch can leave neighbors in EXSTART while DBD packets are retransmitted, ultimately tearing down the adjacency. Configuring identical interface MTU values on both ends permits the database exchange and adjacency to form.
