In the context of multicast DNS (mDNS), what does LSS mean?
LSS means Location Specific Services. In Cisco mDNS deployments, LSS is a location-based filtering mechanism that returns service instances learned from access points near the querying client and filters services learned from other access points. “Latency Sensitive Services” may sound plausible in networking, but it is not the mDNS expansion or filtering feature represented by LSS.
