IP SLA UDP jitter operations rely on accurate time synchronization to calculate one-way delay and delay variation correctly between devices. NTP provides the clock synchronization needed for those measurements. LLDP and CDP are neighbor-discovery protocols, and EEM is an automation feature, so they are not required for UDP jitter measurement.
