Guidelines

This lab requires completing tasks on virtual devices.

• Use the Tasks tab to view this lab item's tasks.
• Use the Topology tab to open the device console(s) and complete the tasks.
• Access consoles for all required devices by selecting a device icon or using the tabs above the console window.
• All required preconfiguration is already applied.
• Do not modify any device enable password or hostname.
• Save configurations to NVRAM before proceeding to the next item.
• Select Next at the bottom of the screen to submit this lab and continue to the next question.
• After Next is selected, the lab closes and cannot be opened again.

Topology

Tasks

All physical cabling is installed and verified. Establish connectivity from PC1, PC2, and PC3 to the switches. Configure every PC-connected port as an end-user port that permits only its assigned VLAN.

1. Create VLAN 99 on each of the three switches and name it exactly FINANCIAL.
2. Configure the switch ports connected to PC1, PC2, and PC3.
3. Cisco's neighbor-discovery protocol is disabled on SW-1 and must be enabled again.
4. PC1 must be unable to discover SW-1.
