Your startup disk is no longer available or doesn't contain a working Mac operating system.
Explanation

An Apple logo indicates that a startup disk was found. On Apple-silicon Macs, the screen showing startup disks and Options is Startup Options. A globe with an exclamation mark means Internet Recovery could not start. A prohibitory symbol means the selected startup disk has a macOS version that Mac cannot use. A folder with a question mark means no available startup disk contains a working macOS installation.
