QuestionQ12

Magento Open Source core features

A Business Practitioner is helping a merchant create a free-shipping rule. The merchant wants to show the message “free shipping on all orders until 31st December” on every page.

How can this be accomplished?

Explanation

A CMS block placed through a CMS Static Block widget can use a layout update set to All Pages and a shared page container, causing the message to appear in the same location across the storefront. A standalone CMS page does not display site-wide.
