COF-C03: SnowPro Core Certification

In a Snowflake managed access schema, grant authority is centralized: only the schema owner (the role with OWNERSHIP on the schema) or a role that has the global MANAGE GRANTS privilege can grant privileges on objects in that schema, including future grants. Object ownership and roles such as SYSADMIN alone do not confer this authority.
