QuestionQ11

ONTAP Cluster Installation, Upgrade and Administration

Which two default HA features operate together to reduce and prevent client outages on an ONTAP FAS cluster?

Choose two
Explanation

Automatic takeover moves responsibility for a failed or unavailable node’s storage to its HA partner so data service can continue. Automatic giveback, enabled by default, returns the storage to its home node after recovery. Together, these operations minimize and avoid client outages.
