For ordinary solution components such as columns, the top managed layer controls runtime behavior, so Solution B’s maximum length of 100 prevails. Model-driven forms use merge behavior: distinct controls added to an existing section are merged, so both categoryid and territoryid appear in the Account Information section. A Conflicts tab is used only when form elements cannot be merged.
