A Linux App Service plan (--is-linux) is required for a Linux custom container. Deploying images.azurecr.io/website:v1.0.0 pins the Web App to the explicit build tag instead of the moving latest tag. The container configuration authenticates to the ACR login server, https://images.azurecr.io, with the registry credentials; the repository name belongs in the image reference, not in the registry server URL.
