Which account type is created when you register for IBM Cloud?
IBM Cloud registration now creates a Pay-As-You-Go account by default. It requires a credit card for identity verification, permits access to Free and Lite plans, and charges only for billable services used. Lite accounts are legacy accounts from the earlier registration process, while Trial and Subscription accounts are obtained through special eligibility or subscription-code paths.
