CBPR consists of self-assessment, compliance review, recognition/acceptance, and dispute resolution and enforcement. Accountability Agents review compliance, handle disputes, and can enforce program requirements; Privacy Enforcement Authorities participate in enforcement cooperation. Consultation with a Privacy Enforcement Authority is not a defined CBPR element.
