Huawei Cloud Stack restoration does not support cross-architecture restoration between Arm and x86 ECS or EVS disks. An ECS data-disk backup also cannot be restored to a system disk. Bare-metal-server restoration and restoration to shared EVS disks are not supported for these backup copies. Huawei Cloud’s backup-restoration documentation likewise identifies the data-disk-to-system-disk restriction.
