You have configured a LAG interface to a Gateway on a VSX pair using the following commands.
After verifying the link aggregation group (LAG) status on the Gateway, only one member link is up. What is the cause?
A LAG that spans both members of a VSX pair must be configured as a multi-chassis LAG with multi-chassis. Without it, the two VSX switches do not present the required single logical LACP system to the Gateway, so the Gateway cannot aggregate both member links into one LAG. Aruba’s VSX documentation specifies interface lag multi-chassis to create a VSX LAG.
