A customer is exhausting the available IP addresses in a network segment. What occurs if they add another IP subnet to the same VLAN?
A VLAN is a single Layer 2 broadcast domain. Multiple IP subnets can be assigned within that VLAN, but this does not create separate broadcast domains; Layer 2 broadcast frames are still flooded to all ports that belong to the VLAN.
