Dual Authorization is a security control that requires approval from a second administrator before a destructive or sensitive operation—such as deleting or modifying a Catalyst store—can be completed. This two-person integrity model prevents any single administrator, whether acting maliciously or by mistake, from unilaterally deleting or tampering with protected Catalyst stores, thereby strengthening data protection and reducing insider-threat risk. TPM 2.0 Secure Boot is a hardware/firmware integrity feature unrelated to administrative access control over Catalyst stores, and Cloud Bank Detach is an operation for removing a cloud storage unit from Cloud Tier, not an anti-tampering safeguard for administrators.
