HPE StoreOnce Systems support Federations, where several StoreOnce appliances are linked with one system designated as the federation lead and the rest as member systems. The Federation Dashboard, viewed from the lead system, aggregates information across all member systems—such as the total number of systems, their software versions, StoreOnce Catalyst stores, and overall storage utilization—and lets an administrator perform management tasks (like creating Catalyst stores) on any member system directly from the lead system. This is the native StoreOnce capability for grouped management of multiple appliances, distinct from HPE CommandView (legacy array management software) and HPE GreenLake Data Ops Manager (a separate cloud data services offering).
