A customer uses VMware HCX to migrate VMs.
For what reason should the customer use the HCX vMotion or Replication Assisted vMotion option to migrate workloads?
HCX vMotion moves a running virtual machine between sites without service interruption, and Replication Assisted vMotion combines replication with vMotion for live, large-scale migrations. These methods are therefore appropriate when the workload must be migrated live and cannot tolerate a VM reboot.
