HPE Alletra Storage MP B10000 uses an SSD-based write buffer/cache, with writes staged on DFC-hosted SSDs. Its write-through cache architecture avoids relying on dirty write-back cache pages in protected RAM or NVDIMM; data awaiting RAID-stripe placement remains available from the volume staging area.
