What must be considered when proposing an HPE Storage Solution?
HPE Alletra Storage 5000 is a hybrid flash array that supports Fibre Channel connectivity and uses HDDs for capacity with SSDs for cache. The flash-to-disk capacity must therefore be sized sufficiently for the workload so that the cache can provide the required performance. HPE’s configuration guidance separately requires selection of HDD capacity and SSD cache capacity for this platform.
