Snapshot capacity is based on changed data rather than a full additional copy of every base volume. A 15% daily change rate for 100 TB produces 15 TB of changed data per day; over seven days, this requires 105 TB of snapshot capacity. HPE documents snapshot capacity as usable capacity consumed by snapshots at the system level.
