The BCC Adapter feature on FortiSandbox relies on the upstream SEG sending a blind carbon copy of emails to a dedicated sub-domain, which FortiSandbox retrieves and analyzes. For this to function, DNS must have an MX record for that BCC sub-domain pointing to the FortiSandbox IP address so mail servers know to route BCC'd messages there, and the SEG itself must be configured to BCC emails for that sub-domain to FortiSandbox. Without both the MX record and the SEG BCC configuration, FortiSandbox will never receive the copied emails needed for sandbox analysis.
