QuestionQ16

Cloud Tier Administration

Which protocol is used for communication between a PowerProtect DD appliance and the cloud tier to Dell EMC ECS?

Explanation

PowerProtect DD Cloud Tier accesses cloud storage through the Amazon S3 protocol, which is based on HTTP. SSL may be used to secure that communication, but it is not the object-storage communication protocol.
