An administrator is adding a node to an existing VxRail 8.0.100 vSAN ESA cluster. When the Add VxRail Hosts wizard is started, the node appears as incompatible.

Why does the node appear as incompatible?

Explanation

For the initial vSAN ESA release, a VxRail host added to a cluster must match the existing nodes’ type, family, and configuration. A node of a different model does not meet that compatibility requirement and is shown as incompatible.
