Uniform VXLAN QoS preserves DSCP-based traffic classification across the tunnel by copying a Layer 3 payload’s DSCP value to the outer VXLAN header during encapsulation. At tunnel egress, uniform mode also copies the outer-header DSCP to the decapsulated packet.
