In what sequence is a client request to a protected web application processed?
NetScaler Web App Firewall inspects the incoming request before the appliance continues application-delivery processing. Integrated caching then checks whether it can serve the content locally; only a cache miss requires forwarding toward an origin server. Load balancing selects that back-end destination, and rewrite processing follows in the request path.
