QuestionQ522

Network

An engineer is configuring the NetFlow feature on a Cisco NX-OS device. To reduce the amount of export data collected, a sampler is required. Drag the NetFlow configuration steps to the implementation sequence that meets these requirements. Not all steps are used.

Drag & Drop
Apply a sampler with a flow monitor to the interface.
Enable the NetFlow feature.
Define a flow monitor.
Apply a sampler with a flow record to the interface.
Define a flow record.
Apply a flow record to the interface.
step 1
step 2
step 3
step 4
Explanation

NX-OS NetFlow must be enabled globally before flow objects can be configured. The flow record defines the fields collected; the flow monitor references that record. Applying the monitor and sampler to the interface activates sampled NetFlow, reducing the volume of exported flow data. A flow record is not applied directly to an interface.
