Drag and drop each characteristic on the left to its corresponding monitoring type on the right.
Streaming telemetry uses a subscription/push model that sends selected data continuously as it is produced. This gives visibility into short-lived CPU and memory spikes, uses device-initiated connections rather than requiring inbound connections to devices, and avoids repetitive polling work. Traditional network monitoring uses a pull model, so a monitoring system can request a metric from a network device whenever needed.
