Controller (vManage/vSmart) VPN 0 tunnel interfaces carry a TLOC color identifying the transport, and controllers accept only the default color or a public color — the private mpls color cannot be used to reach them over MPLS-excluded transport. To place controller control connections on the Internet transport instead of MPLS, the tunnel interface is assigned the public Internet color: public-internet designates a general public Internet link, while default does not identify the Internet transport and biz-internet denotes a business-grade Internet circuit.
